Memory Season

In “MEMORY SEASON”, player can control the dragonfly to explore this memory forest. Dragonfly is another player in memory; same as when we talk with ourselves or another “me”. Player can point the flying direction of dragonfly by touching the screen. There is daytime and nighttime in memory forest, and the different collection of special memories are hidden in the elements in this forest, for example, stones. When dragonfly close to the stone, a special memory will appear on the stone. How many special memories are there in the memory forest? It is an open endless world. Dragonfly can never fly out of the forest like our memory.
Game project “MEMORY SEASON” is about memory. The experiment is to mix interactive visual mode with the childhood memory to create a new situation in the relationship between the imagination in memory and the visualization from 3D virtual world. In this game project, the method of exploring memory is a reflection from real world. Each object and 2D element is abstracted from memories. In “MEMORY SEASON”, there is no beginning and no ending. Does our memory have that?
In Prototype 2, the project is directly position in our daily environment. Instead of LED display, the motion graphic is projected on a piece of traditional paper.
